Brandy Duchesne-Martin
I have a passionate love for writing, and I decided to pursue a freelance career, in an effort to experience the best of both worlds - I am blessed to be a stay-at- home mom, while I embrace outside work opportunities.
I currently work as a freelance writer for an in-store and online furniture store sites, writing promotional product advertisements. And I work part time as a Media & Public Relations Assistant for our local chapter of The Canadian Testicular Cancer Association. Also sparked by my interest, I am developing an on-line disability and community awareness resource.
I have worked with people with disabilities for many years, and in various capacities. I have a keen interest in promoting their interests and inclusion – and overall, how we as community members can work together to strengthen our community, regardless of our ability, and circumstances. I keep abreast of current events, including issues that affect our community, and our environment.
